This week's question/challenge:
"It's time to spread some love beyond the borders of the Book Blogger Hop! This week, we aren't answering a question. We are spotlighting our fellow bloggers. Find your favorite author interview, guest post, book review OR bookish article that ANOTHER BOOK BLOGGER recently featured on their site and tell us why you love it/them. As an additional challenge, find your favorite from EACH category above and spotlight all four of them (interview, guest post, review, article)."
I found a really great review and author interview of Remembrance by Michelle Madow on Word Spelunking. I liked the honesty in the review and the author interview was very well done! Very ell done!
Follow Friday is hosted by Rachel at Parajunkee's View and Alison at Alison Can Read. It is another way for bloggers to make new friends and followers. So jump in and say hi! Then jump over to either blog and post a link to your blog (be sure to follow the required steps!).
This Friday's question:
"If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?"
Well, anyone who follows my blog knows that I am a Twilight freak, so my obvious answer is Bella. I am Team Edward, and I would give my right arm to switch places with her. But, I wanted to give some "not-so-obvious" answers as well.
Anna Scott from Notting Hill (movie): I love, love, love this movie! Anna is beautiful, rich, famous and falls for down-to-earth, every man Hugh Grant. I would take her place in a heartbeat!
Callie Cargill from The Glades (tv): Cute, spunky, smart and the girlfriend of Jim (aka Matt Passmore--gorgeous Australian actor).
Those are my answers for this week. Leave a link in the comment section to your answers and I will hop by and check them out.
hop hop hop! new follower here!

I considered Bella as my answer too! I haven't seen Notting HIll or the Glades, but I've heard they're really good - I bet it would be fun to switch with those characters!

ReplyDeleteYou're definitely not the first to say Bella, i would go into Breaking Dawn, have the wedding, skip the birth and Volturi and go straight to the happy ending!

I though more people would have chosen Bella this week! If I were to switch with her I'd probably skip the birthing as well, wayyyy to painful sounding.

Anna Scott is a great one! I loved that movie too. One of my favorite movies is The American President. I'd love to change places with Sydney (played by Annette Bening.)
ReplyDeleteNew follower from the hop :) Love the title of your blog! I Am A Reader, Not A Writer

I can't wait to get the rest of the Twilight books! I've seen the movies, but haven't read them yet. I liked the book for Twilight much better than the movie - how could they leave out the part where Edward takes her to the nurse's office???
ReplyDeletehaha so I'm sure it'll be the same way for the rest of the series, too.

Hey, thanks for stopping by the blog! I followed back.:) I don't think I've seen Notting Hill before.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Always great to hear from someone else who works with teens! Aren't they just something else!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of Bella and Edward myself. Whats the name of the girl whose in the pack, can't think of her name right now, it will come to me later...she'd be pretty cool to be.

I've actually been able to stay away from anything Twilight (don't hate me!), but I can see why so many people would choose Bella.
ReplyDeleteLove your movie and tv choices!

I really like the film Notting Hill. I'm actually from that area of London and my mother was an extra in the movie. She met Hugh Grant but unfortunately not Julia Roberts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me. Following back!

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Word Spelunking, so will check out the link....
I haven't seen any Bellas yet! Great pick...she's got it all. I don't know that I'd want to be married to a vampire, but if it's all in the name of love, so what?

ReplyDeleteWell, I can't decide whether I'm on Team Edward or Jacob. I do like Edward better than Jacob. But I feel more sympathy for the latter.
